As a bonus, it adds a layer of safety by preventing access to the spa when it’s not being supervised.
The lifespan of a spa depends on the model, the quality of the materials, and how well it is maintained. With proper care, some spas can last 15 to 20 years. Regular water maintenance, frequent filter cleaning, and an annual inspection can go a long way in extending your spa’s life.
It is highly recommended to install your spa on a concrete slab. To ensure your spa remains stable and properly supported, it must rest on a solid, level, and even base. A concrete slab is often the most durable option. However, since Trévi spas are self-supporting, a well-levelled base made of compacted crushed stone can also be a suitable alternative.
