Quebec’s provincial regulations do not set a maximum depth for residential pools. However, any pool with a water depth of 60 cm (2 feet) or more is subject to the Residential Swimming Pool Safety Regulation. This regulation includes safety standards such as access restrictions and fencing to help prevent drowning risks.
